Mary Nicholson was born in Kent England. She received a BFA at Chelsea Art College in London and completed her MFA at Hunter College in N.Y. She currently lives in the Lower East Side, N.Y. She shares her studio with a music ensemble called The No-Neck Blues Band in Harlem. Her group exhibitions include Troop 48 NYC, John Connelly Presents, NYC; The Zine Unbound: Kults, Werewolves and sarcastic Hippies, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, CA; Attack: The Kult 48 Klubhouse, Dietch Projects, NY; Teenage Rebel, Agnes B, Paris; She Loved Her P.C More Than Me, MTV Studios, NYC; and The Independents, Alleged Gallery, NYC. This Year she had a Solo Exhibition, "Pause" at Autoversion, LTD, NYC. Her work has been published in various Periodicals including K48 and V Magazine.
