  The Sloping Dipole.

 

The sloping dipole is simply a normal dipole that is erected in vertical

position sloping at 45 degrees away from the top of the mast. As can be seen

from the attached picture the antenna is very simple to erect and needs little

adjustment.

Dimensions for the various HF bands are listed below.  One very important

thing to remember is that the  coax must be joined to the dipole centre as

follows.   The centre of the coax goes to the upper side of the dipole and the

braid must go to the ground end of the dipole.  The maximum signal  direction

is away from the mast.
